The AI bot and assistant, is named after Luca Pacioli (1445-1517), the monk who invented double-entry bookkeeping. Pacioli, which can respond to spoken questions, was shown this week’s Advantage conference. “Pacioli is the first digital assistant designed for CFOs,” Aaron Harris, Intacct’s chief technology officer, said during the opening keynotes. Pacioli will contribute to Collaborate conversations. Harris provided an example in which a user asked for the amount of sales to a particular customer and Pacioli found that number and posted it to the conversation chain. “As Pacioli learns from usage, we will make it easier to perform common tasks,” Harris said.
