I don't know that buy is the correct word, but the goal has been to keep local owners in place and the relationship was described last fall by VP Joe Longo as a complex investment/ownership formula. Since Microsoft is not going to allow buying groups, there must be some equity ownership by SBS as I read Longo's comments. In any event, since November, SBS has picked up the following: CompuExcel of Los Angeles; Omnios and Lakeshore Consulting, both in the Chicago area, and Cardamel Consulting November. The roots of SBS are in Solomon, as are many of the network members. However, it also carries Dynamics AX, MAS 500, Deltek Vision and Acumatica.
