The company was founded in 2008 by CEO Shashank Dixit. On its website, Deskera has the tagline “Go Live in Hours, Not Days” and it offers a broad range of applications—ERP, CRM, PM, and HCM. The company says it employs more than 300 in Southeast Asia, the United Arab Emirates, and India. Its job listings show most positions open are in Asia while only one for a product specialist in San Jose, Calif., is in this country. At the same time, Deskera introduced Desk, which it calls an integrated B2B commerce platform for SMEs.

Singapore-based Deskera, which offers cloud-based business software, has raised $60 million in funding. The company, which has offices in India, Indonesia, Malaysia and the United States, plans to use the funds to add to its product portfolio and continue to expand globally.
