This involves integrating the core NetSuite ERP with Oracle's human capital management program, both cloud products. Nelson and Oracle president Mark Hurd made the announcement jointly. Nelson says the integrated product uses Oracle's database and brings that company's technology stack to companies that would not have been previously able to afford it. Nelson also said his company needed the features of Oracle's HCM product for the top of its market. Nelson said NetSuite would refer HCM customers to Oracle "as appropriate". Hurd said Oracle would have a team to sell HCM into the NetSuite base and jointly to customers.
