SAGE RETIRES INSIGHTS NAME
As promised, Sage is bringing back its user conference, Summit, which was not held this year. While it didn’t combine the user get together with the resellers conference, it is running the tracks back to back at the same venue. Reseller tracks will be July 10 through 13 and customer tracks on July 13 to 15, all at the Gaylord National Resort and Conference Center, just downriver from Washington DC.
What wasn't expected was that the company retired the name Insights, its long-time reseller conference, in favor of Summit. At the same time, Sage scheduled Summit directly opposite Microsoft's Worldwide Partner Conference which will be held July 10 through 15 in Los Angeles. Sage should offer Dynamics VARs a discount to attend a show that is actually devoted to what they do.
