HIGHTOWER HIRES SALES DIRECTOR
HighTower, a Skokie, Ill.-based Sage reseller and developer has named Nick Rizzio to the job of sales director. Rizzio was most recently managing partner and director of sales at technology consulting company NJR where he worked from January 2005. In fact, most recently is recent enough that NJR is listed as his current employer on his LinkedIn page. The HighTower release called him “a consultative, high-level executive with a deep understanding of the technology needs of today's businesses.”
The company has also hired Larry Boubel as senior sales executive. From February 2010 through this month, Boubel was senior solutions executive at Business Technology Partners, a Sage reseller, and he served as a territory manager for Epicor from 2007 through 2010. HighTower CEO Jeff Rosengarden says that Boubel will exclusively handle the company’s relatively new Syspro business. While HighTower has had only one Syspro sale since signing on,” we’ve got a real good Syspro pipeline,” Rosengarden says. HighTower signed with Syspro in June 2010.
