I expect that, combined with the fact that the company for the first time revealed financial results as it earlier released fiscal 2011 revenue, moving to the center of finance in this country could raise the company's profile for a public offering. It seems likely that investors would want an offering to get back all the capital they have plunked into Infor's many acquisitions. Infor said the new location would house one of New York’s largest software engineering teams and it expects to benefit from a technology campus being constructed by the city in conjunction with major universities. In a prepared statement, CEO Charles Phillips cited the ability to attract both engineers and graphic designers. The building is billed as providing an open loft-style design with no traditional executive corner offices.
