According to a blog post by Kevin Machayya of Microsoft “This web browser capability is a very recent and very significant extension to the scope of the Microsoft Dynamics Nav "7" release and has not been announced or demonstrated before.” Nav was running on Azure for the demonstration. Nav 7 is scheduled for a release in September or October of 2012. Of course, this means next's Convergence and Worldwide Partner Conference are going to be Nav shows.

Microsoft has demonstrated Dynamics Nav 7, next year’s version of the product, being accessed via a web browser. And the message is there are clouds on the ERP horizon. The demonstration was made at this week’s Directions, a Nav conference held in Orlando. Fla.
