INFOR BUYS SERVICE MANAGEMENT APPS
Infor is staying on the acquisition road with the purchase of product lines from Single Source Systems, a third-party developer for Infor and Sage. Infor acquired products that include Service Management Plus (SM-Plus), SM-Plus Mobile and Workbench Suite. SM-Plus is described as enabling service-centric companies that make, distribute and service high-value or complex equipment to manage the entire service life cycle of that equipment.
SM-Plus Mobile allows field technicians to use a laptop or mobile device to remotely access critical supply-chain information from the field while Workbench Suite can consolidate several role-related screens, performance gauges, navigation shortcuts, process flow guides, and advanced search/report tools. The Single Source products will be integrated with the Infor10 ERP Business line (SyteLine). Single Source also developed Service Management Plus for Sage’s MAS 500.
