SAGE PICKS CHANNEL VP Featured

Paige Erickson, Sage Sage North America has named Paige Erickson as VP of partner strategy and programs  Erickson apparently fills the spot left vacant by Donald Deshaies, although the titles are not quite the same. At the rate at which the Sage channel is consolidating, that ought to be an easier job than it used to be on the reseller side. Erickson became SVP of business development at BillTrust in October 2014.

Before taking a sabbatical to get an MBA at the University of Texas at Austin, she was with CA/CA Technologies from April 2009 to October 2012 where she was VP of partners and alliances from April 2010 through October 2012. From July 1994 through March 2009, she held sales, marketing and channel management roles with BMC Software. She will be based in Houston, Texas, and will report to Rich Spring, EVP and chief revenue officer for Sage North America. Deshaies started in February 2014 and left in April this year. Since Spring is avowedly more a channel advocate than Pascal Houillon, the CEO of Sage North America who left in June, channel jobs are probably going to get a bit easier for that reason as well.
