Alfapeople's focus includes retail areas such as clothing, accessories, electronic appliances and home furniture. It is also involved in general merchandise, health and personal care. Alfapeople, which says it has more than 400 employees, operates in 14 companies, including the United States. Obviously, there is a lot going on involving India and the AX channel. Sonata Software, based in India, is acquiring I.B.I.S., while Edgewater Technology has received a hostile merge bid from Ameri Holdings, which has a management largely of Indian origin and offices in two cities in the subcontinent.

Dynamics AX VAR Alfapeople is growing its workforce substantially in India. The retail specialist recently reported it has expanded its staff in India to 25 people and expects to double that by December 2016. Alfapeople has its India headquarters and Centre of Excellence (Retail) in Gurgaon and the firm also has a regional office and delivery center in Bangalore.
