WJ, which is also a Deltek Premier Partner, listed it as did SSI consulting and the Unanet page lists several well-known names among its channel members. Since Unanet fits the same market served historically by Dynamics SL, it's not surprising that a historical Solomon reseller like McLean, Va.-based SSI under Bill Aiton would pick up the SaaS product. Just how active these firms are is reseller-by-reseller question. Mark Severance, director of sales and marketing, at Simi Valley, Calif.-based Arxis Technologies, said his firm was not active and that it was "something we did for a client" while Raffa, based in Washington D.C., said Unanet is part of its active project line. Among other dealers shown on the Unanet list are BDO Solutions, Brittenford Technologies, Broadpoint Technologies, Crestwood Associates, and RSM.
WJ TECH PICKS UP UNANET Featured
WJ Technologies, an affiliate of accounting firm CohnReznick, has picked up Unanet. A cloud application, Unanet is designed for project-based accounting. In a prepared statement, WJ said it would "leverage Unanet's project, resource and financial management software to build their client base in professional services and other project-driven industries." Unanet does not have a lot of market recognition but it seems likely to become more visible as for the first time it was mentioned as part of their product lines by resellers making submissions for Bob Scott's Insights Top 100 VARs.
