Wingrove replaces Pat Falle who has become global chief evangelist officer. Wingrove joined Sage in February 2010 as senior director of sales of Canada, Latin America and the Caribbean. Based in Toronto, Ont., he was alliances manager for SAP Canada from August 2006 through December 2008 and was then director of alliances and business development for SAP subsidiary Camilion Solutions from December 2008 through January 2010. He served in executive channel positions with Epicor from January 1998 through June 2006.

Avalara has named Mike Wingrove as VP of channels. Wingrove comes to the sales-and-use-tax company from Sage where he was VP of North American sales from July 2012 until taking the position with Seattle, Wash.-based Avalara. He reports to Pascal Van Dooren, Avalara's chief revenue officer.
