Microsoft did not disclose Dynamics revenue but gave enough numbers to calculate that. Dynamics falls under the reporting segment, Productivity and Business Processes, whose revenue increased by $692 million. Microsoft gave the volume of increases for three of four revenue sources. Subtract those out and Dynamics revenue was up $19 million over a year ago. If that amount is a 7-percent increase, then Dynamics revenue for the quarter was $290 million and change, up from slightly more than $271 million a year ago. The segment revenue was up 10 percent, due to higher revenue from Office 365 and the acquisition of LinkedIn. The second-quarter change in revenue, compared to an 11-percent increase for the first quarter, with CRM Online the major factor. The results blend into a 9-percent rise for the half. That's still better than the 4- percent increase for the year ended June 30.
