Acumatica's chief marketing officer Kathy Visser-May said when clients ask CPAs about the product, the answer is often "Acu-what?" The company will advertise in a variety of accounting publications. It will also participate in the road shows held by the widely recognized K-2 Enterprises consulting organization. Visser-May said during the its Summit conference in San Diego, Calif., that the company intends to increase spending on marketing by five times. Acumatica is also launching the Acumatica Campaign Factory, which is designed for members who want to pay the company to com up with marketing programs on their behalf.
