North American revenue of roughly $17.2 million represented an increase of 14.8 percent over the prior year. Total revenue for the Denmark-based reseller and software developer increased to about $45.4 million. The overall tale was that of the software industry generally with subscriptions rising and licenses decreasing. Subscriptions to Columbus products hit about $1.9 million for the most recently ended quarter, an increase of 23.4 percent. External subscriptions (which would include Microsoft products) increased 2.1 percent to roughly $6.3 million. License revenue from the sale of Columbus software dropped to about $935,000, off 19.9 percent. External license revenue fell 6.8 percent to approximately $2.5 million. The management report from chair Ib Kunøe and CEO Thomas Honoré noted the sale of ColumbusCare contracts rose by 62 percent which was termed "a satisfactory development."
