The opening Exact webpage has a selection for the United States and says the software company serves more than 100 countries. Exact has not fully defined the change by which three American manufacturing packages—JobBoss, Macola, Max—were transferred last year to ECi Solutions Software, acquired by Exact’s owner Apax partners. Among the developments, Exact joined the Amazon Web Services Partner Network to offer cloud deployment capabilities for the company’s Globe and Synergy applications. Also new is Exact Online My[Firm], described as providing extended payroll capabilities and dashboarding for small business and accountancy customer collaboration. Another element was what was described as Exact’s “renewing” its focus on payroll via the Exact Online Payroll application, with “extended payroll capabilities.” This includes employee self-service and a mobile app. Exact made a run with Exact Online for a couple of years in this country but did not find a formula that worked.
