BAASS BUYS CA-PLUS
Sage reseller BAASS Business Solutions has acquired CA-Plus. Both organizations are Sage 300 dealers and both are Canadian organizations. BAASS is based in Toronto and CA-Plus in Toronto and Edmonton. BAASS president Joseph Arnone said the deal lets his company "strengthen our Sage X3 portfolio, enhance our team of Sage 300 consultants and technical resources, and expand our operations west with the establishment of an Edmonton, Alberta office.”
BAASS was No. 37 on the Bob Scott's Top 100 VAR list with $8.4 million in revenue. CA-Plus was founded in 1993 by owner Robert Carter. CA-Plus employs 25 and has revenue of about $3 million. Both are Sage Select resellers, a species that has been in decline.
