NetSuite is hiring 60 to 70 college grads a year. The first class was hired last year and is ready to be thrown into that part of the market. McGeever says the reason for the program is that experienced sales reps want to go into the higher level of the market, where the big money is, not into the effort to reach smaller companies. This effort at the low end is not quite as low as the low-end that NetSuite was playing in when it was called NetLedger and selling accounting software for $5 per month. But this is showing that it has not decided to throw its entire efforts into sales of $100,000 or more.
