Sieber came from SAP where his positions included managing director of SAP Switzerland and COO of the region incorporating Germany, Switzerland and Austria. Moving from Software AG, where he was chief marketing officer and Head of the Cloud Business, is Ivo Totev, EVP of global marketing. Paul Vogel has moved into the job of EVP of global sales after working as EVP of global sales and services of the software product lifecycle management division at Siemens. EVP of global services, Gonçalo Leitão was previously SVP for SAP services globally for Atos.

Under the ownership now of Advent International, Unit4 has swept away its old executive structure with the hiring of four EVPs under CEO Jose Duarte. Unit4 reached outside the company for the four execs just hired and is also looking for a chief technology officer. Advent is a private equity group that purchased Unit4 and took it private earlier this year.
