Another is that "we have been working with Open Systems forever". Open Systems will support the former TBC clients--they will not be offered up to other VARs. TBC's four-person staff has remained with Open Systems since the operations combined just over a month ago. Thomas also divested himself of a similarly named TBC company during the fall that handled the SAP Business One line. He sold that operation to Vision33, a reselling outfit that is based in Irvine, Calif., as noted elsewhere in this newsletter.
OPEN SYSTEMS BUYS RESELLER
Open Systems has acquired one of its resellers, TBC International. And while buying VARs is something Exact has been good at, it's new for Open Systems. Richard Paul Thomas, the owner of TBC said part of the reason for the sale is that he and his wife Linda were getting close to retirement.
