Based in Orlando, Fla., Progressive shows a staff of 18 on its website and carries Dynamics GP/SL and Acumatica. It develops add-on products for its financial applications. Bowman says SBS will take over the Acumatica reselling while Plumbline will have the SL and Acumatica ISV products, still representing a change of direction for Plumbine. Progressive was founded by CEO Carolyn Jasiulewicz, who like many resellers is an escapee from an accounting firm, having started as an auditor at Ernst & Young and then transferred to its Microcomputer Consulting Division. PLUMBLINE CONSULTING BUYS PROGRESSIVE Featured
Just to confuse things, Plumbline Consulting has acquired Progressive Systems Solutions. This is not the Plumbline Solutions that became Solomon Cloud Solutions, noted elsewhere in this newsletter. It's a consulting and reselling firm owned by Jim Bowman and Joe Longo, owners of the SBS Group. The companies did have a relationship: Plumbline Consulting was spun out of Plumbline Solutions about six years ago.
