Armanino has been aggressive with cloud-based products and last year created a cloud consulting practice. In its last public count for Bob Scott's Top 100 VARs, Armanino said it had $65.9 Million in annual revenue and a staff of 2011 for its consulting practice—led by Tom Mescall—which placed it No. 7 on the list. That compares to revenue of $56 million and 182 employees for 2014.

Armanino has been named Intacct's 2015 VAR of the Year. The San Jose, Calif.-based accounting firm says it is also the first reseller to be named to the Intacct President's Club for five consecutive years. Besides selling Intacct, Armanino has created Intacct integrations to Salesforce.com, Microsoft Dynamics CRM, Adaptive Insights and Coupa. Armanino has had a year of multiple honors—during the summer it was placed in Microsoft Dynamic's Inner Circle for the fourth consecutive year.
