Headquartered in Long Beach, Calif., Ignify has offices in India, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand and Japan. The acquired company's flagship product Ignify eCommerce is an end-to-end Business-to-Business () and Business-to-Consumer (B2C) ecommerce platform that provides full merchandising, inventory, and marketing capabilities. The deals for AX VARs have involved decent sized resellers this year. RSM (formerly McGladrey) acquired Junction Solutions, a $50-million-a-year AX organization in November. India-based Sonata Software purchased I.B.I.S., the Atlanta, Ga.-area firm that became an AX-only VAR by selling off its Dynamics GP practice to Socius this year. I.B.I.S. had $21 million in revenue and ranked No. 26 on the Top 100 VAR list this year. We're still waiting on the outcome of the effort by Ameri Holdings to buy No. 5, Edgewater Technology, which had $117 million in annual income, a figure that includes its Oracle business.
HITACHI SOLUTIONS BUYS IGNIFY Featured
Hitachi Solutions America has acquired Ignify in the next step in the consolidation of the Dynamics AX market. With $24 million in revenue, Ignify was No. 22 on Bob Scott's Top 100 VARs for 2015. Ignify was founded in 1999 by Sandeep Walia and Pankaj Kumar and sells Dynamics AX, CRM and AX for Retail Point of Sale. Hitachi Solutions does not break out numbers and that means Ignify gets subsumed into the larger company and that's the last we'll have on any details there.
