SUGAR OUTLINES "INTELLIGENT CRM" Featured

Rich Green, SugarCRM SucarCRM has outlined its plans for intelligent CRM, which it says begins with the Sugar Intelligence Service. The company laid out the plans at SugarCon, its annual customer and channel conference now underway. Sugar Intelligence Service, under development, will combine data from "best-in-class external sources with company CRM data to provide a comprehensive view of the customer," the company said in a press release.

The new service will add predictive analytics to make recommendation for the next best customer interactions. Rich Green, SugarCRM's chief product officer, demonstrated the use of Sugar Intelligence Service combined with artificial intelligence and intelligent agent technology. The demonstration included "Candace" an AI-powered intelligent agent to assist users in customer interactions. Green said the new products build on technology from Sugar's recent acquisitions of Stitch and Contastic. "In the near future, we plan to give Sugar users the ability to gather and analyze customer intelligence from a broad range of sources so that people spend less time entering data into the CRM and more time learning from it," Green said in a prepared statement. Pricing and availability have not been announced.
