Hardt's replaces Patrick Smith, who became CMO at Cvent in October. Cvent describes itself as a cloud-based enterprise meetings, events and hospitality technology company. Smith had been with Deltek since 2007, serving as VP of marketing and communications and becoming CMO in January 2014. Before his stint at Infor, Hardt spent 14 years at Oracle where he was VP of marketing for the North American business in his last position there. Looking at Hardt's LinkedIn page, I am always a bit perplexed by marketing people who don't have pictures with their profiles.
