In the last few weeks, some veteran firms have done deals with Arxis Technologies acquired by RKL eSolutions on the Sage side, and the SBS Group and Socius combing to form Velosuo on the Microsoft side. In its submission for Bob Scott’s VAR Stars for 2017, SSI, headed by Bill Aiton, reported $6 million in annual revenue and a staff of 16. Headquartered in Santa Clara, Calif., Menlo Technologies also provides web and mobile development, along with data management and migration and Azure IoT and Azure Managed Services.

Menlo Technologies has acquired SSI Consulting, a Vienna, Va.-based reseller. SSI, historically a Solomon reseller, carries Dynamics GP/SL/365 and Intacct. It also handles Unanet, a cloud-based application for project-oriented organizations. And it looks like we are in a new wave of VAR consolidation.
