But changes probably were to be expected as Macola and sister manufacturing software operations, JobBoss and Max, were taken over by ECi Solutions in September 2017. The three products were previously owned by the Netherlands-based Exact, which is controlled by Apax Partners. That investment group acquired ECI as a new home for the software products. Alison Forsythe has joined Honeywell as GM of enterprise software solutions. She served as GM of Macola from 2013 and under her the company initiated a new channel program and the first new product released in years.
