The revenue is out of almost $1.1 billion in revenue for the buildings and infrastructure segment Trimble reported for 2018, but Viewpoint and e-Builder were part of only the last two quarters. The segment comprised 35 percent of the Trimble total with Viewpoint and e-Builder part of the $257.2 million increase over last year’s $830.5 million in revenue. The company broke down the numbers in the third quarter, reporting Viewpoint added $50.3 million in revenue to the total and e-Builder brought $65.9 million to the top line. Earlier in the year, Trimble also acquired FabSuite, which makes MIS systems for steel fabrication, and Stabiplan, which offers 3-D CAD and engineering software and provides BIM content provider for European mechanical, electrical and plumbing industries.
