BLACKBAUD HIRES SUBSIDIARY PRES
Blackbaud has hired Richard Becker as president of Target Analytics, a subsidiary that provides services for donor acquisition, prospect research, benchmarking, custom modeling, and data enrichment for nonprofits. Becker will be based in Target’s Cambridge, Mass, headquarters. The press release describes him as having held “key strategy and general management positions with information technology providers including Equifax, Affiliated Computer Services (ACS), and Bellsouth.”
His Linkedin page shows his most recent position was Vice President - Innovation, Strategy, & Planning at Equifax, where he spent seven years. So I guess the lack of a specific mention of his most recent position was an oversight because it makes the announcement look like there’s some resume cosmetics going on and there clearly isn’t. Blackbaud, you can give your new hires more credit for their past accomplishments than this can’t you?
