Those are not spelled out beyond saying the system gives users a smart, fast, social customer engagement platform. And Sugar addresses one of the other hot technology trends with SugarMobile, also not spelled out in detail in the initial press release. For example, support for the iPad or particular smartphones is not detailed. A new private cloud option is also hitting the market with the new version. Presumably details will follow.

SugarCRM is debuting the next version of its open source CRM application this week. The preview is being made at the Gartner Symposium/ITxpo. Sugar bills the system as "user empowerment-focused vision for next-generation CRM". However that gets defined, the new features include advanced social capabilities.
