Microsoft also said that the latest version of Dynamics CRM is available in 42 countries and will be available for on-premise and partner-hosted deployments on October 30. With the new release, Microsoft is providing industry-focused business process templates that it says will give customers step-by-step process guidelines. Templates are available for professional services, manufacturing and financial services, as well as processes for event management and solution selling. The press release implied, but did not state outright, that there are other templates. Templates are available to users for free. Customers also gain access to new mobile client applications on Windows 8 tablets and iPads with touch capabilities on Windows Phones, iPhones and Android devices to be available during the next month. Microsoft bills the new CRM interface as "people-first" which displays all customer information on one screen along with an "outcome-driven user experience featuring guided processes that help customers reach their desired outcomes".
