Avalara has scheduled Horizons, its first-ever user conference. The Bainbridge, Island, Wash.-based sales-and-use tax vendor will hold the event April 30 through May 2 at the Grand Hyatt, Seattle. Horizons 2014 is officially tagged as The Cloud Services & Digital Goods Tax Symposium. Among the speakers is Scott Peterson, director of governmental affairs for Avalara. The initial list of speakers draws public accounting and law firms.
