SilverSun recently reported results for 2013 and said that SWK's software and service revenue had been helped substantially by sales of Sage's X3 software. ESC handles Sage 100, 500, BusinessWorks and Fixed Assets applications and also offers myHostedIT, a cloud computing portal.
SWK TO PURCHASE ESC SOFTWARE Featured
SWK Technologies has signed a letter of intent to acquire ESC Software, a Tempe, Ariz.-based reseller. Both companies sell Sage software and Acumatica. Founded in 2000, ESC is headed by Alan Hardy. The organization was originally part of the Clifton Gunderson Southwest Technology Group and spun off from that firm in 2004. SilverSun Technologies, parent of SWK, said the deal would add about $1.7 million to its annual revenue.
