The integration means Acumatica users can analyze and visualize ERP data via Power BI and combine Acumatica data with new data sources on-premise or in the cloud. Other available BI content packs include Google Analytics and Twilio. In a prepared statement, Acumatica CEO Jon Roskill said, "Customers expect real-time data and insights that legacy systems struggle to provide. With this Power BI solution, we are leapfrogging the competition and giving our customers a powerful tool to create dynamic dashboards using natural language queries."

howing that co-opetition is alive and well in the software market, Acumatica has introduced a content pack for Microsoft's Power BI. Acumatica more than debuted the content pack; the company was on stage at Build, Microsoft's annual developer conference. Microsoft describes Power BI, introduced this year, this way: "Power BI is a cloud service that lets you share, collaborate and access your Excel reports anywhere on any device." Acumatica said it would release the Acumatica Content Pack for Power BI "soon".
