In fact, the July crop of new Acumatica VARs included Hutchinson & Bloodgood, whose John Hoyt was named to the council the same month. Others named by Acumatica in July were Aktion Associates, No. 30 on the Top 100 list with $18.8 million. Aktion's wide range of products encompasses Deltek Vision, Infor products (and its Top 100 ranking also included Acumatica in that June publication), and it is an important Sage construction and real estate software reseller. Also new to Acumatica were Nims & Associates, i-Tech Support, and CyberCore. A number of Sage's BPAC members were from organizations that have defected, some recently. Baesis said this year it renewed its relationship with Macola, although that product is not reflected on its website. Net@Work joined the NetSuite program in January. The question is no matter who positively VARs view Sage CEO Steve Kelly whether they think the market lies with Sage or without it is the real question.

DSD Business Solutions has announced it is now selling the Acumatica line. This is not quite a secret as the San Diego, Calif.-based reseller listed Acumatica, headed by president Doug Deane, as one of its product lines in its submission for Bob Scott's Top 100 VARs for 2015 (It made No. 55 with $8.41 million in revenue), which was published in early June. And while in July, Sage named a new Business Partner Advisory Council, it has work to do if it wants to bring significant resellers back into the Sage-only camp.
