But SAP executives are looking at more than the usual VAR. Kevin Gilroy, SVP of SAP's global small and mid market segment, said, "We are looking at non-traditional partners," Gilroy said, including payroll processors and HR companies. He continued, "We are talking to telcos. We are talking to cable companies and CPAs." Schmitt promised the company is working to provide more leads and the usual kinds of support. Execs also emphasized Schmitt has only ByD under him so it will get attention.
