SAP is seeking new organizations to sell its high-profile cloud product, Business ByDesign.  Michael Schmitt, the new sheriff in the ByD town says, "We are talking to a lot of partners to activate them, motivate and come along with them." SAP has introduced new versions of its business intelligence products for small and medium-sized enterprises. These are Crystal Server 2011 and version 4.0 of BusinessObjects Edge Business Intelligence. Crystal Server (once known as Crystal Reports Server) is designed for small companies and departments. The official announcement said Crystal Server customers in sales and market departments can utilize the bundled BusinessObjects Explorer “to navigate and drill down to granular levels and monitor how those campaigns are affecting return on investment (ROI) in real time.” The products are scheduled for general release in the third quarter.
