HBK IT, a subsidiary of accounting firm HBK CPAs & Consultants, is merging with reseller Vertical Solutions. The announcement said Vertical Solutions president, Bruce Nelson, will lead the combined company.

Accounting firm Crowe has acquired Upaya-The Solution, a NetSuite reseller and Workday Adaptive Planning partner. Terms were not disclosed for the deal, which is expected to be completed on October 1.

 ECI Software Solutions, which owns the Macola manufacturing software line, has acquired Deacom. Terms were not disclosed.
