SAP is seeking new organizations to sell its high-profile cloud product, Business ByDesign.  Michael Schmitt, the new sheriff in the ByD town says, "We are talking to a lot of partners to activate them, motivate and come along with them." Oracle has been granted a permanent injunction against Rimini Street, which provides support for enterprise software. The Federal District Court in Nevada rejected Rimini’s effort to delay the injunction which prohibits Rimini and its CEO Seth Ravin from continuing what a 2015 copy infringement trial found was unlawful infringement.

NetSuite had strong growth for the first quarter ended August 31 with a 26-percent increase in revenue. Figures released for this year and the year-ago first quarter also show the number of NetSuite ERP customers rose to more than 15,000 from 12,000, up more than 25 percent.

The 2018 revenue for the pending combination of Edgewater Technology, a Dynamics and Oracle partner, and Alithya has been estimated at $279.5 million. Since June, the companies have raised the target 2019 revenues from a range of $262 million to $277 million to a revised $295.9 million.
