MICROSOFT FLOW RENAMED, ENHANCED Featured

Microsoft has renamed its Microsoft Flow software as Microsoft Power Automate. The software company this week also said Power Automate now features robotic process automation, which it previewed.

“These new features and products substantially advance our vision for the Power Platform,” corporate VP James Phillips said in a blog post on the Microsoft website The software is designed to enable employees to create and automate workflows across multiple applications and services. Phillips said with RPA Power Automate solutions span “AI, APIs, and UI on the Microsoft Power Platform.” The system  utilizes Power Virtual Agents, a no-code/low-code app for creating and deploying intelligent AI-powered virtual agents. The company also introduced security enhancements for Power BI to provide data security capabilities ”no matter where your analytics data is used and accessed,” according to Phillips  There is tighter integration between Power Platform and Microsoft Teams, along with prebuilt models for AI Builder.
