Microsoft has released new features for Dynamics Business Central and described other capabilities not yet released. The release continues the push to migrated desktop customers with  support added for more Dynamics GP and Dynamics NAV versions.

There are also improvements in the selective migration of Dynamics GP customers and vendors and enhanced migration of Dynamics GP Chart of Account setups. Overall features listed include improved performance, handling of file storage, geographic expansion together with support for Group VAT and deeper integration with Microsoft Teams. Among these additionally,, according to the recent announcement are “further telemetry visibility for partners through Azure Insights, and it brings improvements in conflict handling for synchronization with Common Data Service.” It enables users to return to the request page after previewing a report, and to change the assigned printer before printing a report. Microsoft said it also investing in existing connectors to the Power Platform, along with enabling virtual entities. Global expansion includes planned releases in Brazil, Ireland, and Lithuania for Business Central 2020 release wave 2.
