It is the first step of what the software company says is a planned international rollout that will include integration with Intacct’s core financials and other Sage financial products. But the announcement did not spell out what countries are being considered, although it’s probably a safe bet it will hit the English countries that Sage Intacct has entered, the United Kingdom and Australia and obviously the United States Sage said Intacct Manufacturing will complement the more complex capabilities of X-3, whose roots are in processing manufacturing, but it may signal X-3 never goes to the cloud. The new Intact product is designed for discrete manufacturers.
