The Studio is designed to enable “citizen integrators” who can utilize a low-code approach to connecting a wide variety of application and database, not just connecting Epicor software to other Epicor products. Creating connectors is “as easy as dragging and dropping,” chief product officer, Vailbhav Vohra, said during a recent interview. Vohra said the ease and speed at which integrations can be created mean the platform is suited for companies which want to try out an application. “It’s like QuickBase,” he said. The company’s announcement terms it “a low-code integration and synchronization tool.” Vohra described “citizen integrators” as individuals who have a coding background and they don’t have to figure out an API that’s this long.” Epicor notes that users can create connectors and automated workflows from their native Epicor environment.
