SAGE FUND ACCOUNTING GETS MOBILE APP

Krista Endsley, Sage Nonprofit SolutionsSage 100 Fund Accounting, a product no longer owned by Sage, now can utilize Sage Mobile, an app that is owned by the namesake organization. Well, I think, the wording is a bit confusing in the press release but the website calls it Sage 100 Fund Accounting Mobile, probably a worthwhile caveat and I assume Mobile is being licensed to the entity that owns the fund accounting package.

Anyway, the update is the first product announcements since the former Mip software was sold to Accel-KKR at the same time Sage also disposed of Act and SalesLogix. The upgrade is officially version 2013.4. Sage Mobile is available at the iTunes App Store and Google Play for smartphones and tablets. The upgrade also includes features designed to streamline communications, human resources and management functions. A few separation issues remain for Fund Accounting since the product information is still available via the Sage North America website and the name of the new company will definitely not be Sage Nonprofit Solutions. The spun out operation is headed by Krista Endsley, who directed it while the product was owned by Sage.
