CHANNEL ISLANDS AVAILABLE SEPTEMBER Featured

Pam Lopker, QADQAD’S Channel Islands User Experience will be generally available in September, the manufacturing software company said this week. The announcement was made at QAD Explore 2018, its customer conference. Channel Islands debuted in September 2015 as a four-phase program and enables users to run QAD software on devices equipped with a modern browser.

Users can also personalize their experiences. "We built Channel Islands specifically for the cloud using HTML5 and RESTful API services to give our customers the ability to personalize and extend the software to adapt to changing business needs,”  Bill Keese, SVP of R&D, said in a prepared statement. Channel Islands is built on the QAD Enterprise Platform, which debuted last year.  President Pam Lopker says the platform will enable customers to adapt to a large number of new technologies, such as IoT, blockchain, AI and 3D printing.
