That follows the July sale of United’s Acumatica business to the Strategies Group. Based in Baltimore, Md., Acumen, found in 2008, also handles Sage HRMS and Fixed Assets along with Sage 300 and CRM. United’s president, Ted O’Shea, noted that more than 90 percent of his firm’s customers are involving in construction and real estate. Acumen’s markets include service and repair, construction, energy, marine, merchant services and hospitality.
