Madeley was previously chief sales officer of Hubspot from August 2014 through last month. Before that, he was VP of commercial sales for Salesforce from 2010 through 2014. Mal is retiring after eight years in the job. Vena markets finance, budgeting and analytical software and it seems likely the investors are looking for significant growth as it raised about $75 million ($115 million Canadian) in January.
