Deltek has signed an agreement to buy ComputerEase, which make construction accounting, project management, and field management software for contractors. Deltek will acquire the company’s assets with the deal expected to close during this quarter.

Terms were not disclosed. Computerease fields construction accounting, job costing and project management  software. The company was founded in 1983 by CPA Bob Mattlin. The construction software market has been underdoing significant change over the last two years with Viewpoint buying Dexter+Chaney in 2017 and Keystyle Data Solutions in April 2018 before being acquired itself by Trimble in November. The market has also been impacted by Acumatica’s introduction of its construction edition, which has been picked up by the larger Sage construction VARs
