ACUMATICA TO PIGGYBACK ON IFS Featured

Acumatica plans to utilize the channel and other parts of the infrastructure of its sister company, IFS, to expand internationally. CEO Jon Roskill said at this week’s Release 2 launch in Waltham, Mass., that Acumatica will piggyback on IFS in countries in which that organization has a presence, such as United Kingdom and South Africa.

Acumatica is now owned by EQT Partners, which also owns IFS, in a deal which closed three weeks ago.”We will be leveraging their infrastructure and partners to be able to accelerate delivery,” Roskill said. While Acumatica has expanded in several countries by having OEMs develop on top of its platform, in the IFS countries it will bring its product in without utilizing partners. Acumatica, which is already present in U.K., will place at least one staff member in the IFS office in the London, England, area. Acumatica’s OEM partners include Acceo in Canada, Cegid, in France, Censof in Malaysia, Lexware in Germany,  MYOB in Australia, and Visma in Norway. Acumatica will continue to use OEMs in countries in which IFS does not have a presence, for example, Japan.
